never felt like this

never felt like this.

ive never feel so relaxed sleeping in,and waking up ,without the bugging feeling,"oh man,there's stuff today."
now.attachment at TTSH starts tomorrow.
did a thorough cleaning and tidying up of MY ROOM.
momo couldnt belief her ears when i told her,"im gonna clean my room tomorrow."
'cause of exams,assignments,projects and trainings,i have been like,er,well,making excuses.
HEHE.
eh wait.im a good grr OK.

anybody nice enough to visit me for lunch or dinner?
heard tons of stories.
im getting like real excited but nervous.
i know what to expect.but it suddenly dawned upon me that i might not know how i will handle the whole situation if it really happen.
i came with a brave and kind(i suppose.)heart to serve the sick.
but seriously.
do they see us as being caring or just sex toys?

i know of real caring and warm-hearted nurses at Singapore General Hospital.
'cause they took care of my dying aunt(she was my closest after my parents)with great love.
you can see their passion for their duty,even doing things within their means.

but do the patients understand?
especially the male patients.
i know guys have raging hormornes(HAHA),but you are there to recuperate,to be treated,not causing tears and humility to nurses.
i used to think NURSING is a lowly status job whereby you wear uniforms,follow doctors,feed patients,clean their asses.
but.i was proved wrong.
go and look at nurses overseas.
they are so highly regarded,for they serve the sick and help them get better.
in fact.
doctors only examine,diagnose and instruct on medication.
it's the nurses who actually plan CARE PLANS to ensure efficient recovery of patients.
its the nurses who are with patients almost every second.
but its also the nurses who get reprimanded if things go wrong.
but when things go well,do nurses hit the headlines?
(on a cheeky note,we nurses get to see stuff you deem as porn or whatever shit.HEHE.)
i mean.its nature.we were born without anything on.
ok.wait.i think im sidetracking.
HAHA.
anyway.
many ask me "gen,tell me,why did you study nursing?you seriously should just do your mass comm."
i know i may seem very playful and nonsensical rubbish most of the times.
but let me warn you.i have split personalities.HAHA.
i mean.each of us have our deep side,agree?
i took up nursing on a very practical or you-may-call-it-typical-singaporean note.
i wanted something to fall back on if i cant do much in my other interests.
there are many things i wanna do.i wanna be everything.
so i'll tell you when i've accomplished them.
but for now.and i mean it now and ever.
nurses are noble.
nurses are great people.
in other words.
look up to nurses,people.

whatever you do,people.its all in your hands.dont let others affect you.having your own mind and discipline helps you to understand yourself a whole lot better.know your limits.
